Do you have budding creative geniuses, history buffs, science lovers, or any student with a thirst to learn new subjects in your class? UCL Masterclasses is the perfect way to bolster a student's Year 12 studies, providing an introduction to university level subjects through specially designed online, subject-specific, hour-long sessions. These sessions will focus on a subject available to study at UCL and will feature a lecture from an expert UCL academic or PhD student depending on the topic.
This year, Masterclasses will be online. The sessions are interactive, and we encourage pupils to engage with the presenters, as there is an opportunity at the end to ask questions about the topic presented. Please pass this information onto any students in your class who may be interested! |
Online Parents' Conferences (for parents/guardians of Year 12 Pupils)
Over the course of this academic year, we will be running online parents conferences aimed at providing parents with all the information they need to support their child through to university. The next conference is 'Your child's journey from 6th form to university' taking place Wednesday 31 January 2024, 6 - 7pm for parents/guardians of Year 12 pupils.
In this talk we will discuss the overview of A level study, the timelines, processes and application to university and transition to HE, with a Q&A afterwards and plenty of time to cover every aspect of the transition.
Applications are now open and the deadline to apply is Tuesday 14 January. |
